Today we are at 10 weeks of pregnancy (which is 8 weeks for fetal age). While the entire pregnancy is 40 weeks, 10 weeks seems like a drop in the bucket. However, it feels like I've known I've been pregnant forever!
Towards the beginning of this wonderful adventure Robb was not interested in all the scientific details of the pregnancy. He wanted to know if I felt good and if the baby was ok. However, I think the scientific aspect is fascinating. And since I think its fascinating I continued to talk about all the things that were happening even though Robb said he didn't want to know. Now with all my talking he is interested. So this week the baby is about the size of a kumquat. It also has started kicking (but since it is the size of a kumquat I can't feel it).
Tomorrow we meet with our doctor for the first time. We are very excited about this appointment! More to come on that...
