Big week for Daddy

This was a big week for Daddy. Altavista had band concerts this week. The 6th and 7th grade concert was on Tuesday and the High school band (8th-12th) was on Wednesday night. All grades did great! Now Robb can focus on graduation and then a summer of Jenna time.

Jenna and I are enjoying our last week at home. Next Thursday we are packing it up and flying to California for a Hoover family reunion. My grandpa is turning 95 and my youngest cousin is graduating from high school. After we celebrate these major milestones the whole family is going camping. Once we get back I will be going back to work. Its hard to believe I haven't been working for almost 3 months. I love being at home with Jenna. When I go back to work Robb will be caring for Jenna. She came at the perfect time.

Baby legs

We are loving the baby legs that we have. Jenna is so cute in her leg warmers. They are so convenient. I love onesies and they are so cute and easy to use but her legs would get cold. Pants are a hassle to take one and off for diaper changes. So these baby legs make changes so much easier. Right now we have 4 pair but I've been looking at getting more. Robb thinks they make Jenna look like Olivia Newton John in her Get Physical music video.

We are going for her 2 month check-up today. She gets her first shots. I hope they will hurt mommy more than Jenna. But more to come on that....

Mothers Day!

We had a lovely Mothers day! Jenna gave me a beautiful necklace. It is her birth stone aqua marine. She might have had a little help from her daddy to get this beautiful present. We traveled to the farm for a family get together. This Mothers day was very special. We had two first time Mothers (cousin Kady and me), two first time grandmas (aunt Julia, Kadys mom and my mom) and 1 first time great grandma! It was very special!

When we got home last night I was overwhelmed with love for this little girl. I very much felt like a mommy yesterday!

All smiles

Jenna is smiling so much now. She is very animated and loves to talk to me in the morning. Today she and I went shopping. I dressed her up in a cute little outfit. I think the hat makes the whole thing even cuter. She was a great shopping companion. We were out for 5 hours and she slept for 3 of them. I'm sure we will have many more shopping adventures in our future.

Fun times with Oma

My mom is here on a visit. Last time she was here we planted flowers but today we are taking it easy and enjoying our comfortable couches. Jenna is sleeping on her right now.
